NBCU Static &
Motion Graphics

NBCUniversal
Cable Networks, Intern
Summer 2024

Creating static graphics for social, and motion graphics for movie spots across various channels. Understanding each network and show branding, and applying styles to fulfill those guidelines. Building out a mock show pitch for executives, including creating key art, mogrts, and a rough show intro.

Funland

Jake, the heir to a children’s arcade franchise, is given an ultimatum by his parents: get a job or get cut off. With no qualifications or skills, Jake remains at the family business...as a birthday party host.

Developing a mock show pitch with other interns, our goal was to present a fun concept of a show, along with a visual guide, possible season arc, and marketing strategy.

The key artwork I developed for the pitch.

Mogrts I developed for the mock show. Exploring the new After Effects skills I learned at NBCU.

Additionally, I developed a rough show intro, once again entirely using After Effects.

Entertainment Spots

Using, adjusting, and building mogrts to best represent content for each brand.

I was able to work with each brand designing motion for various movie and TV spots during advertising breaks.

Social Media

Building visual social identity to match with cable content. Representing the talent, story, brand, and fans through social media graphics.

The main social identities I worked on were for SYFY's The Ark Season Two, and 2024 WWE Summer Slam. I developed these identities based on key artwork provided, as well as content from the season.
