During my Brand & Identity Design course at Northeastern, our professor brought us the opportunity to design a brand and story for a chicken restaurant Smoothie King is planning to launch.

The new fried chicken franchise brand, Flock & Fresh, is made for the health oriented, modern, female, digital native

research & approach

An elevation of typical fast food chains, focusing on evoking nostalgia and emotional connections, and its significance as a food cross-cultures.

logo development

Most important to the development of the logo was maintaining the warm and welcoming personality of the brand.

Creating the symbol to be soft and simple in warm tones, paired with Cooper Std. Black and Basic Sans created a memorable and friendly persona.

meet henrietta

Henrietta is sweet like honey!
Food is a love language, one that Henrietta uses to connect to her friends. For Henrietta, cooking means using fresh ingredients, holistic foods, and putting love into every meal.

brand mood & visualizations

This is the final brand as I pitched it, giving the executives and investors an idea of how the brand would look and feel in the real world, invoking those feelings of comfort and delicious flavor.
